Onrust Archaeological Park Closing Period Extended

Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit extended closing period of Onrust Archaeological Park which includes Onrust Island, Cipir Island, and Kelor Island following the re-enactment of strict Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) which valid from January 26 until February 8, 2021.

It is still closed to the public or tourism activities

Jakarta Maritime Museum Management Unit Head, Berkah Shadaya conveyed, closing period of Onrust Archaeological Park was extended according to Gubernatorial Decree (Kepgub) No. 51/2021 on Extension of Duration and Limitation on Outdoor Activities.

"It is still closed to the public or tourism activities because strict PSBB period is extended from today to February 8, 2021," he mentioned, Monday (1/25).

Onrust Archaeological Park Closed Again After Return of PSBB

According to him, the closure policy was carried out to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission in Jakarta.

"During the closure, we will sterilize the area and take care of the facilities," he stated.
